الهيئات العامة

   أُنشأت هيئة الفجيرة للثقافة والإعلام في عام 2006 بموجب مرسوم أميري، بهدف المساهمة في تطوير أداء المؤسسات الثقافية والإعلامية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة عموماً، وإمارة الفجيرة خصوصاً، مما يمكنها من دعم بناء الإنسان وفقا لقيمنا العربية والإسلامية، وتنطلق الهيئة من رؤى صاحب السمو الشيخ حمد بن محمد الشرقي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الفجيرة، الذي يؤمن بدور الثقافة في بناء وتطويرالمجتمعات الإنسانية.

وتقوم رسالة الهيئة على أن الثقافة هي عنوان الشخصية الوطنية التي تميزها عن غيرها، وأنها واحدة من أهم عوامل التقدم الاجتماعي والتنمية البشرية الشاملة، فلذلك أخذت الهيئة على عاتقها مهمة رعاية الأنشطة الثقافية والإعلامية في المجالات العلمية والبحثية والإبداعية، وذلك من خلال توفير المناخ الملائم للعمل فيها، وتعزيز وتنشيط الحركة الثقافية باستغلال الطاقات المتاحة والعمل على دعمها وتطويرها.

وللهيئة مجلس إدارة يرأسه سمو الشيخ راشد بن حمد الشرقي يتابع خطط وبرامج واستراتيجيات الهيئة، ويعطي توجيهاته بشكل دائم من أجل تحقيق التطوير والتميز المستمر في أدائها.

   Fujairah Culture and Media Authority (FCMA) was founded by an Emiri Decree in 2006 to contribute to the development of cultural and information institutions in the United Arab Emirates in general and Fujairah in particular, and to support the development of human skills and knowledge in accordance with our Arabic and Islamic values. FCMA's work stems from the vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, who believes in the role of culture in building and developing human societies.

FCMA's mission is that culture is a national identity that distinguishes each country from others. It is one of the most important factors of social progress and comprehensive human development. Therefore, the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority is committed to fostering cultural and media activities in all its forms: science, research and innovation. This is done through providing the proper climate for cultural creativity, strengthening and revitalizing the cultural movement, and exploiting, supporting and developing the existing cultural energies.

FCMA has a board of directors chaired by His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi who continuously follows-up FCMA's plans, programs and strategies and gives directives aimed at achieving development and excellence.
